D: (5,000XP starting out): You've just started your journey as a mage. You're still a fledgling in the magic world, it's probably best to mind your words when speaking with higher ranked mages, at this point they can quite easily defeat you. Don't let this bother you, though, just stay focused and keep training!

• Starter Spells Allowed: 5 (3 D-rank & 2 C-rank)
  
• Spells Allowed: 10
  

C: (20,000XP): You've gotten some things learned, but there's still a lot more that you need to learn. Don't stop now, keep it up!

• Starter Spells Allowed: 5 (2 D-rank, 2 C-rank & 1 B-rank)
  
• Spells Allowed: 13
  

B: (50,000XP): Now you've made it to the point where you can claim yourself as a capable mage. You're not yet established with the people, but you're well on your way!

• Starter Spells Allowed: 5 (2 D-rank, 1 C-rank, 1 B-rank, 1 A-rank)
  
• Spells Allowed: 17
  

A: (90,000XP): Congratulations, you're now able to stand toe-to-toe with some of the best mages in the world. But don't get ahead of yourself, there are still people out there who can beat you. Keep training and keep getting stronger!

• Spells Allowed: 20 (Max. 3 S-rank spells)
  

S: (150,000XP): Nicely done! You've made it into the percentage of mages in the world. Your name is known among both normal citizens and mages alike. You can hold your own against most high ranked mages without much trouble. Even with this amount power, however, you're not invincible. Be sure to exercise humility.

• Spells Allowed: 25 (Max. 6 S-rank spells and 2 SS-rank spells)
  

Requirements: Proper amount of XP, S-rank exam, Plot relevancy

SS: (250,000XP): It's official, you've made it to the upper echelon of power. Your power is regarded as monstrous, people both either respect and adore you....or fear and loathe you. The number of people who can oppose your power is rather limited, but there are still people out there who can give you a hard time and even those at equal you in power. Don't get cocky...

• Spells Allowed: 30 (Max. 10 S-rank spells and 4 SS-rank spells)
  

Requirements: Proper amount of XP, S-rank, Plot relevancy
